Born on this day in 1929 – Jack B. Sowards, who co-wrote the story and screenplay for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. He later wrote the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Where Silence Has Lease".

Born on this day in 1950 – Brad Dourif, actor who made appearances in End of the World, Once Upon a Time, Fringe, Alien: Resurrection, Star Trek: Voyager, Babylon 5, The X Files, and Dune.



In Star Trek he played the sociopathic Betazoid crewman Lon Suder in three episodes of Star Trek: Voyager.

On this day in 1978 – Leigh Brackett, sci-fi author/screenwriter, Died aged 62 - Ginger Star, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.

On this day in 1950 - Brad Dourif the voice of Chucky in the Child's Play films was born.
